Refreshing a Brand
Sourcing Change based in Washington DC connected with us to refresh their tired and outdated branding. Although the brand has served them well and has been successful in the past, it was now time to bring it up-to-date. The client made it clear that everything could change including strategic direction, brand identity, and even the name if it was deemed beneficial.
We wanted to streamline and strip back all visual communications and let the rich content do most of the work. Mood boards and initial concepts were presented to stakeholders online and refined until everyone was in agreement with the new brand positioning and direction. This included icon development, typeface and colour selection.
4 brand pillars were identified early on in the process – Design, Council, Source & Connect and we developed a suite of icons to visually represent these. The brand statement was also created at this stage – Talent delivers on the promise of Global Business and Shared Services organizations. Is yours up to the challenge?
A fully content-managed website was created using the new branding. We used solid colour backgrounds with subtle interactions and animations with video backgrounds to bring the site to life. This was supported with a series of web banners and social media graphics to promote the launch of the new website and brand.
