The Challenge

We partnered with Glaze Digital to create a strategy and brand for their client Nico van Der Horst. This project consisted of creating a company name, logomark, strapline, tone-of-voice, and a brand guidelines document including a comprehensive logo pack of various formats for use in both print and digital.

The Solution

We ran a workshop to scope out project requirements, research the competitive landscape and listen to the clients’ needs and reservations. We presented a list of possible business names and refined it until we had our revered choice. We then created a visual language and a logo mark that would reflect the characteristics and values defined in the scoping phase.

Using an agile approach and keeping the client involved at every important milestone, we applied the new brand to printed literature and promotional items. Finally, we handed over an online style guide along with optimised assets and images to Glaze Digital to develop the Pride & Pinion eCommerce store.

The Result

The Pride & Pinion brand has grown from strength to strength over the last couple of years from its initial inception. Nico opened ‘The Vault’ in The Merchant Hotel, Belfast, and boasts a very successful YouTube channel. Pride & Pinion has attracted positive attention from some of the nation’s biggest celebrities and sports personalities.
