The Challenge

The glittering black-tie awards ceremony took place at La Mon Hotel & Country Club.  The overall sponsor was Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, with a new associate sponsor Power NI. We worked closely with ND Events to create all print and marketing collateral along with a new user-friendly website with voting capabilities. To be a finalist of one of these prestigious awards serves as a reminder to employees of all their hard work, and showcases success to customers, both current and prospective.

The Solution

First, we sat down with Ardmore to define a clear strategic brief and understand the client requirements for this new project before we even started to think about the look and feel of the new site. We worked closely with Ardmore throughout the design iteration stages to create the Information Architecture (IA), sitemap and lo-fi wireframes to make sure we kept the project on the right track.

Printed collateral consisted of designing and printing various items to the run-up of this awards ceremony, these included sponsored backdrops for media and photography opportunities, 60 winners and finalist certificates, newspaper and magazine adverts, sponsorship/entry forms, pull up stands, and animated screen presentation graphics.

The Result

The website included a client area with online entry forms. We build in metrics and analytics to view insights into which award categories were the most popular amongst users. Specific user interactions were also created such as the previous award winners gallery, a countdown timer to encourage entrants to register, and a judges/sponsors page with external links. The website was completed with the integration of an easy-to-use content management system allowing the client direct access to add, edit or delete content.
